Margarett DeGange, M.Ed. is a professional skills consultant with a strong business emphasis in the interior fashions industry. As a nationally respected Home Fashions Designer, Decorator, and Speaker, she has been involved in many professional organizations to aid in the education and betterment of the Interior Fashions Industries.
Margarett has earned the WCAA CWTC status, and she has been named a Certified Professional by Window Fashions Magazine. Her designs and articles have been featured in many national publications, including Window Fashions Magazine, Out Here Magazine, Sew What Magazine, Furniture World Magazine, Fine Furnishings International, Dream Windows, and many others.
Margarett currently serves as the Vice-President of the Window Coverings Association of America, and the National Director of Training for the Window Coverings University. As a Business Coach, she holds many business and design seminars for seasoned professionals throughout the country on topics such as communication, sales and marketing strategies, color psychology and it's effects on behavior, the Dewey Color System, personality selling, behavior and leadership, time mastery, redesign, niche marketing, and other business development topics. In addition, she trains new and upcoming interior decorators through her decorating school courses. She is the founder and President of The DeGangi Group, which includes DeGangi Interiors/DeGangi Baby, The DeGangi School of Interior Decoration, and Communicate 2 Connect Seminars. She is also the founder of Women of Splendor, a non-profit personal growth and mentoring organization for women.
Margarett DeGange earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from Texas A&M University with focuses in Leadership and Communication, and Adult Education-with specialties in Economics and On-line/Distance Learning. She also holds a degree in Speech Communications. She has extensive training in sales and marketing, and she is a Certified Human Behavior Coach through the Leadership Institute of America. Margarett's design education and training includes home fashions and window treatment design and construction, redesign/staging, color theory/color psychology, and many aspects of Interior Decorating. She has been involved in the decorating industry for over 20 years. She currently lives in College Station, TX, with her husband and three children.
